Beautiful antique fine porcelain open sugar or bonbon bowl crafted by Moritz Zdekauer (M.Z. Austria) in Altrohlau between 1891 and 1917. This Victorian-era piece features a striking organic clam-shell shape with deeply ruffled, heavily scalloped rims and a stylized wavy pedestal base. The brilliant white porcelain is decorated with hand-painted pink rose swags, soft green foliage, and brilliant heavy gold gilt highlights accentuating the organic scrollwork.

The underside bears the authentic green underglaze printed mark featuring the double-headed crown eagle crest with the initials M.Z. and Austria underneath, alongside a handwritten factory pattern number.

Pristine antique condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. The hand-painted florals remain bright, and the intricate gold trim shows minimal to no signs of shelf wear. Perfect for collectors of Victorian Austrian china or an elegant accent for high tea service.

Dimensions: Approx. 7" wide x 4" high.
