This is a lovely original lithograph illustration of a mother and child by listed artist Alexander Dobkin (1908-1975). The lithograph is done in color, and the piece is beautifully executed and exudes a warm, maternal tone.
The lithograph is pencil signed in the lower right and numbered lower left. This is a sweet image that would be a perfect gift for the mother-to-be. Dobkin is known for his modernist illustrations as well as his paintings.
The framed piece is 21.25 x 14.75"
The lithograph is 20 x 13"
Condition of the actual print is good. There is some rippling of the paper on the sides. It should be matted properly.
He was a student of the Art Students League of New York and the Columbia University Art Department and exhibited widely. A lovely image by a listed American artist.
