Standing 12.75 inches tall, this tapered wooden box features an elegant flared design rising from a sturdy pedestal base. The rich black finish is beautifully decorated with intricate, fully intact hand-painted gold gilt floral filigree scrollwork on both the lid and side panels.
The interior cavity and lid are fully lined in a clean, rust-colored velvet fabric, making it a perfect scratch-free cellarette for tall crystal liquor decanters or premium spirits. Features heavy brass drop-style side carrying handles, an ornate Ruyi cloud front plate with a manual friction-toggle push pin closure, and flat butt hinges on the back.
