This striking piece of handmade artisan folk art features a deeply carved "Tree of Life" botanical motif that wraps around the entire exterior. Crafted from solid wood, the vase is covered in a heavy white gesso wash that has been intentionally distressed to let the natural reddish wood grain peek through, adding incredible contrast and depth.

Excellent vintage condition with natural wood variations and intentional distressing to the white finish. The interior clearly shows the original tool and gouge markings from the hand-hollowing production process. Because this is unlined raw wood, it is not watertight and is strictly intended for dried florals, faux stems, or as a standalone sculptural accent.
