Stunning 1930s Art Deco black amethyst glass handled urn vase, masterfully handblown by the Weston Glass Company of West Virginia (Form #20). This rare historical piece showcases an elegant, glossy true black finish under normal room lighting. When held up to a direct light source or window sill, it reveals its breathtaking secret—glowing with an incredibly rich, deep translucent violet purple amethyst hue.

The classical amphora silhouette is highlighted by two beautifully hand-sculpted, clear applied glass side handles that create a brilliant contrast against the dark body. Features an exquisite cased design with a heavy, stable base and a flared rim.

Condition is absolute flawless and pristine antique condition. There are no chips, cracks, flea bites, or scratches anywhere on the body or the delicate handle seams.
