Gorgeous antique Japanese porcelain handled cake plate / sandwich platter by Morimura Gumi (the makers of Noritake). This elegant 11-inch serving piece features twin integral handles and the authentic green "RC" (Royal Crockery) backstamp on the underside, dating it to circa 1911-1921.
It showcases heavy, hand-painted gold moriage (raised slip work) with intricate floral scrollwork, relief-molded beading, and vibrant cranberry/maroon accent panels. An ornate gold medallion completes the center. Beautiful for serving pastries or as a premier cabinet display piece.
