Charming pair of vintage Royal Doulton bone china child figurines crafted in England. Includes "Darling" (HN 1985) and "Bedtime" (HN 1978). Pristine condition with beautiful hand-painted details and clean backstamps underfoot.

Please note that the numbers HN 1985 and HN 1978 hand-scripted on the bases are sequential Royal Doulton catalog model numbers, NOT production years! These classic figures were introduced in the mid-1940s. Based on the factory backstamps, copyright text, and UK registration marks (RdNo 842481), this specific matching pair was manufactured in the late 1940s (circa 1947-1948). They are true post-war mid-century pieces, not modern reproductions. They are 5 1/4" tall.
"Bedtime" features a sweet young girl in a white gown praying, designed by Leslie Harradine. "Darling" shows a young boy in a nightshirt, designed by Charles Vyse. Perfect addition to any fine porcelain collection. Shipped safely and securely.
